What is Aevana?
Aevana is a digital memory capsule for a child. Someone close to that child has invited you to contribute photos, text, and voice messages that are kept safe until they are handed over as a special gift, later in life.
How it works
You received a personal email address in your invitation. Just send an email to it. No app or account needed.
Send it from the email address you were invited with. Emails from any other address are ignored. Changed your email address? Change it here.
- Attach photos directly.
- Write your text in the email body.
- Attach a voice recording. On a phone, record it in the Voice Memos app and share it by email.
Good to know: the organizer sees everything you send and can hide or remove items before the capsule is handed over. Sent something by mistake? Just let the organizer know.
Dear Arthur,
this morning it snowed for the first time this winter. You stood at the window for ages and wanted to catch every single flake. I never want to forget that face.
Your Grandma
Photos (JPEG, PNG, HEIC), voice messages (MP3, M4A, OGG, AAC, WAV, AMR) and text, up to 25 MB per file and about 35 MB per email. Several smaller emails work just as well.
Lost the email with your personal address? Ask the organizer to resend it.
Link your contributions
Enter the email address you were invited with. If we know it, we send a link to that address so you can connect your contributions to an account.
I have a new email address
Enter the email address you contribute from today. If we know it, we send a link to that address. You then enter the new address and confirm it.
Replace my personal address
Did your personal address end up with someone else, for example through a reply to everyone? Enter the email address you were invited with. If we know it, we send a link to that address. There you get a new personal address and the old one stops working.
